“I always look forward to coming out to Phoenix. Phoenix is a tough one-mile track, but it’s a lot of fun to race there. We had a solid run there earlier this year so hopefully we can have another strong showing in our Cargill/Sam’s Club Ford. Our team has been strong with our short track program this season. I think if we can stay on the lead lap and have a mistake free race then we should leave Phoenix with a top-15 finish.”

Sandler on racing at Phoenix:

“We’ve definitely been strong contenders at the short tracks this season. Phoenix is a tough track, but the key is to get your car to turn through the corners. Since track position is important, we will focus on qualifying trim on Friday. If we can stay up front then we should leave Phoenix with another solid finish going into the final race of the season.”
