Bayne at Phoenix
Bayne will make his third career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start at Phoenix International Raceway this weekend.
Bayne previously raced at Phoenix in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, making 10 starts and recording one top-five finish, six top-10 finishes and has an average finish of 13.1. Bayne finished in the top 10 in six consecutive races at Phoenix from Nov. 2011 to Nov. 2014.
Bayne’s top-five effort came in the March 2, 2013 event after starting and finishing in the fourth position.
Bob Osborne at Phoenix
Osborne will call his 17th career NSCS race at Phoenix on Sunday afternoon. In 16 previous races in the Valley of the Sun, Osborne has recorded one win, four top-five and eight top-10 finishes.
Osborne went to victory lane at Phoenix on Nov. 14, 2010, with driver Carl Edwards, qualifying on the pole and leading 93 laps en route to the victory.
Recapping Texas
Bayne finished in the 39th position on Sunday afternoon at Texas Motor Speedway after a flat right-rear tire while running inside the top 20 sent the driver of the AdvoCare Ford behind the wall for repairs.
