NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race Preview

Race No. 4: Phoenix… Michael Annett and the No. 46 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet team visit Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale, Ariz. for the first of two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races there in 2016.

Trekking the West… Sunday’s race at Phoenix is the second in a three-race swing of Western states. Annett ran as high as third in last week’s race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He’ll head to Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif. next week before the Cup Series takes a one-week hiatus.

Annett at Phoenix… Annett scored eight top-20 finishes in nine career NASCAR Xfinity Series starts at Phoenix, including three consecutive top-10 finishes from 2011 to 2012. His best finish, a seventh-place result, came in the fall 2012 race.
