Armstrong at Talladega Superspeedway:
Dakoda will be making his third career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Talladega Superspeedway to go along with two prior starts each in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the ARCA Series. He won the ARCA Series event in 2010 after starting from the pole.

Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 18th at the 2.66-mile long track which occurred during the race in 2014.
Dakoda’s Thoughts on Talladega Superspeedway:
“Talladega is one of my favorite tracks. I won the ARCA race there in 2010 and have run good there over the years. The key this weekend just like it was in Daytona is to have a fast car and run up front and stay out of trouble. Talladega is known for the Big One and you just need to do your best and have some good luck to stay away from that.”

“We are coming off a great run last week in Richmond and all of us hope this is the start of some positive momentum. I know our No. 28 Winfield Toyota will be fast and it will be key to find the right partners at the end to give ourselves a shot at another strong finish.”

Richmond Rewind:
To say that the 2016 NASCAR XFINITY Series season has been a disappointment for Dakoda Armstrong and his JGL Racing team would be a huge understatement. Both driver and team took a step towards changing that as Armstrong piloted his No. 28 Winfield Toyota to a 14th-place finish in the running of the ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond International Raceway.
2016 Stats:
Starts: 8
Avg. Starting Position: 22.4
Avg. Finishing Position: 20.9
Best Finish: 14th (Daytona & Richmond)
Points Standing: 14th
