Townley’s Jive Oh Five Set for Kansas Speedway

Kansas City, Kansas (May 5, 2016) – John Wes Townley will sport a new look on his No. 05 Athenian Motorsports Chevrolet during Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series 250 mile event at Kansas Speedway.

After carrying the Jive Communications colors to a lead lap finish in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race in Talladega, Ala., Townley is pleased to announce he will have the Utah-based company’s logos aboard his Silverado this weekend in the Land of Oz at one of his favorite tracks on the NASCAR circuit.

“I had a chance to meet the Jive folks at Talladega and they are pumped about their relationship with Athenian Motorsports,” said Townley, who finished fourth on the speed chart in the first of three practices on Thursday for Friday night’s race.

“Jive is really excited about racing being a vehicle for them to promote their products. And they are really sold on NASCAR racing in general. We finished P12 here last year in this race and had a shot to win late. I hope we can move up several notches on the scoreboard in Friday night’s race.”

The Toyota Tundra 250 at Kansas Speedway is set to roll on Friday, May 6th at 8:30 p.m. eastern. It will air live on Fox Sports 1.
