Wallace Looks to Use Dover as Catapult into Summer Stretch

CONCORD, N.C. (May 11, 2016) – Bubba Wallace, driver of the No. 6 LoudMouth Ford Mustang, returns to his favorite track on the schedule as the NASCAR XFINITY Series heads to Dover International Speedway on Saturday afternoon.

“I love racing at Dover,” said Wallace. “Ever since my first time here I’ve loved this place. It doesn’t matter if it is in a K&N car, a truck or a XFINITY car, I’ve had fun racing around here. Plus, we’ve always had fast cars.”

Wallace, who currently ranks ninth in the NASCAR XFINITY Series chase standings, has earned two pole positions in his three previous starts at “The Monster Mile” in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. In addition to the two XFINITY poles, Wallace also has one pole in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and one win, two top-five finishes, two top-10 finishes and two poles in three career starts in the K&N Pro East Series at the one-mile oval.

“I’m ready to get on the track this weekend with this LoudMouth Exhaust Mustang,” added Wallace. “With the addition of the heat races as part of XFINITY’s Dash-4-Cash program, the racing should be intense from start to finish. Hopefully, we will have a strong run and win that $100,000 when the checkered waves on Saturday.”

The green flag for Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series event at Dover International Speedway is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. EST. with heat race No. 1 and will be live on FOX, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
