THE ORIGINAL LOUISIANA HOT SAUCE GROWS ITS RACING RELATIONSHIP

HARRISBURG, N.C. (May 17, 2016) – – Earlier this season, Southeastern Mills’ brand The Original Louisiana Hot Sauce announced their presence on AJ Allmendinger’s No.47 Chevrolet SS as he vies for a spot in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chase. Today, the brand adds a new driver to their hot sauce family with up-and-coming young driver Myatt Snider as he makes his ARCA Racing Series debut in the No. 22 Cunningham Motorsports entry at Toledo Speedway.

“Southeastern Mills is a family run business that shares our values and they have been a great partner to JTG Daugherty Racing for a number of years now,” JTG Daugherty Racing team co-owner Tad Geschickter said. “It’s exciting to see them expand their racing presence by sponsoring Myatt Snider in the ARCA Racing Series. The Original Louisiana Hot Sauce is a perfect match for racing and it’s great to be a part of their growth. All of us at JTG Daugherty Racing will be keeping an eye on Myatt as he comes up through the ranks and we are pulling for him to have a good race this weekend with our brand The Original Louisiana Hot Sauce.”

“We have a beneficial and strong partnership with JTG Daugherty Racing and we are pleased to grow our racing family with the addition of Myatt Snider as he makes his ARCA Racing Series debut with the No. 22 Cunningham Motorsports entry at Toledo Speedway,” said Brad Olsen, Senior Director of Marketing for Southeastern Mills. “Our multiple racing sponsorships with Louisiana Hot Sauce help create a stronger connection with our consumers and incremental opportunities to drive in-store sales for our retail partners. This season Snider’s schedule with Cunningham Motorsports includes nine ARCA races kicking off at Toledo Speedway and also including events at Pocono Raceway (two races), Michigan International Speedway, Iowa Speedway, Lucas Oil Raceway, Chicagoland Speedway, Kentucky Speedway and Kansas Speedway. Co-owner Kerry Scherer is looking forward to having The Original Louisiana Hot Sauce on board as Snider takes the wheel.

“It’s a privilege to be associated with such an iconic brand as Louisiana Hot Sauce,” said Kerry Scherer, co-owner of Cunningham Motorsports. “It is a staple in my house. We at Cunningham Motorsports appreciate the opportunity to join forces with Southeastern Mills and Louisiana Hot Sauce in developing a great young talent in Myatt Snider.”
Snider is appreciative of the opportunity at Cunningham Motorsports and the brand’s support as he makes his ARCA Racing Series debut.

“I am so thankful to have a sponsor like Louisiana Hot Sauce come aboard to help me in my effort to move up the ladder and I can’t wait to get this new relationship kicked off this weekend at Toledo Speedway,” said Snider, who made the move from the CARS Tour LMSC where he finished third in the points standings and capped off the year with a victory in the UNOH Battle at the Beach at Myrtle Beach Speedway. “I’m sincerely flattered that they would have the confidence in me to put their logos on the sides of our race car.  I look forward to doing the best job I possibly can in promoting their product and representing them on and off the race track.  We want to make them proud of their decision to join forces with us and hope to be very competitive right out of the box.”

The 21-year-old has a list of things he wants to learn and accomplish during the natural progression of his driving talent.

“I hope to win a race for sure,” Snider said. “I want to learn all I possibly can about racing the bigger and heavier cars on the bigger tracks.  It’ll be a huge learning experience getting adapted to the radial tires.  I plan on being like a big sponge in soaking up all the knowledge and experience that I possibly can.”
