MB Motorsports #63 Preview: NC Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway

BOBBY PIERCE SET TO MAKE DEBUT AT THIRD TRACK IN THREE WEEKS

Crew Chief: Trip Bruce
Team Info: mbracing.net, @MBMotorsports
Bobby Pierce is set to make his debut at Charlotte Motor Speedway in MB Motorsports’ #63 Mittler Brothers Machine & Tool / Champion Brands Chevy Silverado for the NC Education Lottery 200.  It will be the third time in three weeks that Pierce will race at a track for the first time.
“At least this week at Charlotte,” says Pierce, “I will have somewhat of a baseline to work off of, as I can apply some of what I learned at Kansas to this race.  The last two times out, at Dover and Kansas, I was having to learn from scratch.”
“Given how quickly Bobby picked up on the intricacies of Kansas, I’m expecting good things from him at Charlotte,” states crew chief Trip Bruce.  “He’s a very analytical driver with laser-like focus.  Toward the end of the race at Kansas, he was the third fastest truck on the track.  If we can avoid any mechanical issues, Bobby has the potential to be right in the mix Friday night.”
Joining Mittler Brothers Machine & Tool and Champion Brands on the #63 MB Motorsports Chevy Silverado are Kipor Power Equipment, MARADYNE® High Performance Fans, Reikken, Excel Bottling / Ski Soda, MechanixWear and WIX Filters.
“I can’t say enough about Bobby’s performance in the truck,” adds team owner Mike Mittler.  “This kid is the real deal and I hope we have a little luck on our side Friday night so his finish reflects his ability.”
The NC Education Lottery 200 will be broadcast live on FoxSports1, MRN Radio and Sirius Channel 90 Friday, May 20th at 8:30 pm ET.  The final practice session will be broadcast on FoxSports1 on Thursday, May 19th at 4:30 pm ET. Qualifying will be broadcast at 5:30 pm am ET Friday on FS1.
