Jeb Burton Ready to Shine in Front of Home Crowd

Rocky Ridge Trucks Returns to No. 43 Ford Mustang

Jeb Burton may have only raced five times total at Charlotte Motor Speedway in his professional racing career, but the No. 43 Rocky Ridge Trucks team is ready to bring a top performance to the home crowd this weekend, as the XFINITY Series returns. Burton has competed in all three series at Charlotte Motor Speedway and will have a unique red and black Rocky Ridge Trucks paint scheme on the No. 43 Ford Mustang.

Burton has raced in all three NASCAR series at Charlotte Motor Speedway in his career. He started from the pole in the Camping World Truck Series and has one Top-10 and three Top-15 finishes in three starts. He also competed for Biagi DenBeste Racing in the XFINITY Series in 2014, finishing 15th. Burton has found success at the 1.5-mile speedways this season, finishing 10th in Atlanta and 17th in Las Vegas.

“I’m really looking forward to returning to racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend. Since I have only run one race there in the XFINITY Series, we watched the race from last year and the race I ran in 2014 to give us an idea of the racing we can expect this weekend. At Charlotte, you can move around the racetrack in multiple grooves, running all three lines and being able to gain track position. The weather forecast for this weekend is hot and sunny, which will really affect the track and cause the tires to fall off quicker. Our goal this weekend is to maintain good track position and get another Top-10 finish, which I feel really confident about because the package we are bringing on our No. 43 Rocky Ridge Ford Mustang is similar to the package we brought to Atlanta earlier this season when we finished 10th. I’m ready to be back racing and bring home a top finish to keep us in the Chase points game.”
