ADVANCE NOTES

Biffle at Loudon

Biffle has 27 career Sprint Cup starts at Loudon, earning one win, seven top-five and ten top-10 finishes.  Biffle’s average finishing position at Loudon is 15.7.

In 2008, Biffle led 58 laps and earned his Sprint Cup victory at the 1.058-mile track.

Last Fall at Loudon

Greg Biffle saved just enough fuel to make it to the end of 300-laps at New Hampshire Motor Speedway to earn a fourth-place finish.  Pit strategy late in the race got Biffle some much needed track position and clean air, and from there he was able to lead the field for a total of 12 laps and save enough fuel to make it to the end and earn the top-five finish.

Last Week

Biffle finishes sixth at Kentucky Speedway, to record his second top-10 finish in the past two races; following up an eighth-place finish at Daytona.

Boston Bruins

NESN Fuel and Roush Fenway Racing will host Boston Bruins players Frank Vatrano and Noel Acciari on Sunday at the track. Both players have New England roots; Vatrano is a native of East Longmeadow, Mass., and played at UMass, while Acciari was born in Johnston, R.I., and won a national tile at Providence College.

Biffle on Loudon:

“Loudon is one of the more unique race tracks that we race at.  It’s a little bit flatter one-mile race track.  The thing I like about it is you can diamond the corner or run down on the apron a little bit and up the race track.  It gives a lot of opportunities to pass even though it’s difficult.  NESN has been a great supporter of us at Roush and it’s really cool to be able to run this paint scheme at New Hampshire.”
