CHASTAIN RETURNS TO IOWA

NEWTON, Iowa – Iowa Speedway is one of Ross Chastain’s favorite tracks.

And that’s because he’s had success there. Chastain’s worksheet at the seven-eighths-mile track includes a second-place finish in the Camping World Truck Series in 2013 and a 10th-place run in the Xfinity Series last year.

Chastain returns to the track for Saturday’s U.S. Cellular 250 Xfinity race in the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 4 Chevrolet.

“Iowa holds special memories for me,” Chastain said. “I’ve raced there seven times, so I’ve gotten to know the track well, and our record there is good. We hope to add to that this weekend.”

Chastain finished 14th in the season’s first visit to Iowa.

Practice is scheduled at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for 4:15 p.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 8 p.m.
