Wallace will make his second career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Watkins Glen International on Saturday afternoon.

Wallace finished 16th in this event in 2015.

In three career road course starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, Wallace has recorded one top-five and two top-10s with a best finish of fifth coming at Road America in 2015.

Recapping Iowa

Wallace was involved in an incident on Lap 27 that heavily damaged the right-rear of the Fastenal Mustang and ultimately led to a 27th-place finish in the NASCAR XFINITY Series event at Iowa Speedway.

Seth Barbour at Watkins Glen

Barbour will call his third NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Watkins Glen this weekend. Barbour previously worked with Roush Fenway Racing teammate Ryan Reed at the New York road course in 2014 and 2015.

QUOTE WORTHY

Wallace on racing at Watkins Glen:

“Watkins Glen is going to be fast this weekend. With it being freshly repaved we are really going in with a blank slate. I’m looking forward to getting there and turning some laps on Thursday with our Cheez-It Mustang and getting back in the swing of making rights and lefts.”
