AM Hot Lap | AWE Tuning

Justin Dugan Visits AWE’s Facility in Horsham, PA

PAOLI, Pa. (September 24, 2018) –  AmericanMuscle’s Hot Lap series is a monthly video installment featuring some of the most popular topics in the Ford Mustang landscape. This month’s AM Hot Lap features a tour of AWE Tuning to witness how AWE builds the highest quality Mustang exhausts on the market.

“Who would’ve thought that AWE, a company originally founded for the Euro Enthusiast, would eventually go on to produce some of the nicest sounding Mustang exhausts in the category.  On top of that they hand build everything right here on the East coast using some of the finest materials possible and top it all off with my personal favorite- a blow pop with every purchase.”   -Justin Dugan

Air & Water Enterprises, A.K.A. AWE, was founded in Germantown, PA in 1991, in a single-bay garage by Todd Sager. Over the years, AWE has evolved into an internationally-distributed manufacturer of precision hard parts focusing on everything from Porsches and McLarens to Bentleys and Volkswagens. Two years ago, AWE added Mustang to their stable and they haven’t looked back since. Focusing on exhausts, air-intakes and intercoolers, AWE has carried over a lot of the technologies from their European segment, including their 180 Technology®, to represent some of the nicest products in their respective categories.

In this Hot Lap episode, you will receive a tour of their facility in Horsham, PA, to see how they develop and design their products as well as a visit to their in-house installation center, where AM’s 2018 Mustang GT receives an AWE Touring catback exhaust. You’ll learn all about how AWE parts are made, including a little welding lesson from Justin—kind of.
