Eckes and Hemric Return to MHR in 2027

(Statesville, N.C) – McAnally-Hilgemann Racing announced this morning that Christian Eckes and Daniel Hemric are returning to the organization’s NASCAR FedEx Freight Trucks Series (NFFTS) lineup in 2027. The duo combined for two of MHR’s three entries in the 2026 Chase field and eyes another deep run next season. Both drivers will return with their familiar numbers in ’27, with Hemric driving the No. 19 Chevrolet and Eckes in the No. 91 Chevrolet.

The tandem will carry NAPA Auto Care on board for the brand’s 37th year in partnership with team owner Bill McAnally, along with various NAPA suppliers. The MHR organization will also be rejoined by Columbia Bank and Motion with increased involvement.

“It’s nice to have 2027 planned out already”, Eckes said. “We want to accomplish much more in ’27 than we did this year and feel strong about the plan we have in place to do it. The speed we’ve generated in the second half of this season has given us a lot of confidence to start next year strong and make the most of the opportunity with NAPA, Columbia Bank, and Motion.”

“Our No. 19 team and the company certainly got stronger as the year progressed”, Hemric said. “All our partners, NAPA, Motion, and Columbia Bank have given us a great chance to build together in 2027. There is plenty of hunger internally to build the right culture and prepare the right way for a strong start next year.”

Hemric and Eckes begin their road to the 2027 NFFTS Chase at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, February 19th.

Additional details for the team’s 2027 lineup will be announced at a later date.
