ADVANCE NOTES

Wallace at Bristol Motor Speedway

Friday’s race at Bristol Motor Speedway marks Bubba Wallace’s second NASCAR XFINITY Series start at the .53-mile track.  Earlier this season, Wallace started seventh and finished 12th.

In two NASAR Camping World Truck Series starts at the half-mile bull ring, Wallace’s best start and finish came in 2014, when he started eighth and finished second.

Wallace has one NASCAR K&N Pro Series East start at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2012, when he started second and finished 18th.

On the Car

The No. 6 Mustang carries the Ford EcoBoost colors this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.  Ford EcoBoost technology combines smaller overall size with turbocharging, direct injection and variable valve timing to bring customers outstanding performance and fuel economy.

Recapping Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

Wallace earned his eighth top-10 finish of the 2015 season on Saturday afternoon at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.  Wallace qualified 11th and overcame an early spin to finish eighth in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200.

QUOTE WORTHY

Bubba Wallace on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway

“I’m really pumped to get back on track at Bristol.  We are coming off a top-10 run last week, so the new team and I are going to build on that.  Seth [Barbour] has a good baseline of what our Ford Mustang needs.  This is a good opportunity to get our first win.”
