ADVANCE NOTES

·        Biffle at Atlanta

o   Biffle has 19 Sprint Cup Series starts at Atlanta, earning three top-five and nine top-10 finishes.  He has an average starting position of 13.1 and finishing position of 15.9.

·        Last Time at Atlanta

o   Due to an early qualifying draw Biffle qualified 24th and struggled with turn during the race.  On one stop Biffle overshot the pit stall and had to back up for service, then during a later pit stop the air gun quit working.  With the odds stacked against them, the 3M team never gave up earning a 15th-place finish.

·        Ortho

o   Ortho makes its debut on the No. 16 car this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, and will appear on the car for two more races this season before becoming the anchor partner in 2015.

Biffle on Atlanta:

“We had a good run at Bristol and I’m looking forward to this weekend.  Atlanta is a 1.5-mile track that we’ve had a lot of success at and we’ve got Ortho on the car this weekend.  We need to have a good run to try and solidify our position in the Chase.”

Puccia on Atlanta:

“Atlanta is a unique track because it’s one of the more worn out 1.5-mile tracks that we go to on the circuit.  It’s also very bumpy, so getting a compromise of balance of being able to get through the bumps is important.  I’m looking forward to going down there with the No. 16 Ortho Fire Ant Killer Ford Fusion and getting a good run this weekend.”
