ADVANCE NOTES

Wallace at Iowa Speedway

Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Iowa Speedway marks Bubba Wallace’s fourth NASCAR XFINITY Series start at the track.  Earlier this season, Wallace started eighth and finished sixth.  In addition, he raced in both events in 2012.  In the spring he started eighth and finished ninth, while in the summer he started second and led 36 laps before finishing seventh.

In three NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Iowa Speedway, Wallace has earned one pole (2014), and two top-10 finishes, along with leading 41 laps.

Wallace has four NASCAR K&N Pro Series East starts at Iowa Speedway, with a best start of third (2012) and a best finish of third (2010).

On the Car

The No. 6 Mustang carries the Ford EcoBoost colors this weekend at Iowa Speedway.  Ford EcoBoost technology combines smaller overall size with turbocharging, direct injection and variable valve timing to bring customers outstanding performance and fuel economy.

Recapping Indianapolis Motor Speedway

In his first visit to Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Wallace suffered a flat tire early in his No. 6 Ford EcoBoost Mustang.  The team was unable to overcome the lost lap, ultimately finishing the day in 23rd.

QUOTE WORTHY

Bubba Wallace on racing at Iowa Speedway

“I’m ready to get back to Iowa with the Ford EcoBoost colors.  We had a top-10 performance last time we were here, and we are looking to turn that into a top-five and competing for the win.  I’m going to focus on ride quality through the bumps and maximize on drive off.”
