Chris Buescher – Road America Advance

Roush Fenway Racing’s Chris Buescher makes his second NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Road America on Saturday. Last season, Buescher started ninth with a fast Ford Mustang, before rain and a pit road speeding penalty slowed him down, ultimately finishing 18th.

Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) announced today that Winn-Dixie will serve as the primary sponsor for Sam Hornish Jr. and the No. 9 Ford team at the Darlington (S.C.) Raceway The Tradition Returns weekend in September.

RCR Event Preview – Road America 180 Fired Up by Johnsonville

Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR XFINITY Series at Road America ... In 11 Series starts at the 14-turn road course, RCR has completed 565 laps of the 579 (97.6 percent) they have competed. The Welcome, N.C., organization visited Victory Lane last year with Brendan Gaughan, earning their first win at Road America. RCR has accumulated two top-five and three top-10 finishes, led nine laps and averages a starting position of 14.2 and finishing position of 14.8.

Elliott Sadler – Road America Advance

Elliott Sadler will make his fifth NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) start at the Road America this Saturday afternoon in Elkhart Lake, WI. In Sadler’s previous four starts at Road America, he’s recorded one top-five and three top-10 finishes. Last year at the 14-turn road course, Sadler started 11th and finished ninth.

Driver Justin Wilson Succumbs to Injuries

INDYCAR announced that driver Justin Wilson, who enjoyed success in multiple motorsports series during a two-decade professional career, died today from a head injury sustained in the Verizon IndyCar Series race Aug. 23 at Pocono Raceway. He was 37.

Sage Karam Medical Update

Verizon IndyCar Series driver Sage Karam was released from Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown, Pa., on Aug. 23 after evaluation of his right heel and left wrist following an incident earlier that day during the race at Pocono Raceway.

Verizon IndyCar Series driver Justin Wilson remains hospitalized in a coma in the intensive care unit at Lehigh Valley Health Network Cedar Crest Hospital in Allentown, Pa., after sustaining a severe head injury during Sunday'sevent at Pocono Raceway. He remains in critical condition.

Biffle Overcomes On-Track Damage to Finish 25th at Bristol

Greg Biffle battled track position and grip during Saturday night’s race at Bristol Motor Speedway. Biffle started 17th in the No. 16 Cheez-It Ford but battled handling over the 500-lap race. Just as luck seemed to be going Biffle’s way with a well-timed caution, an accident on the ensuing restart caused damage to the No. 16. After a few pit stops for repairs Biffle was able to make it to the end to finish 25th.

RCR Post Race Report – Bristol Night Race

Richard Childress Racing drivers Ryan Newman, Austin Dillon and Paul Menard finished 10th, 13th and 24th, respectively, in the Bristol Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
