“Kansas Speedway has been repaved in the past few years and it’s a lot smoother,” Allmendinger said. “I really hope the grip level at Kansas relates to Vegas (Las Vegas Motor Speedway) because we really ran strong there and finished sixth. We have got one of our newer No. 47 Dillons/SCOTT Products Chevrolet SS race cars that we are taking to Kansas. I feel like we will have a fast car with what we learned and how we ran at Vegas. I feel pretty good about this weekend.”

Tenth Career Start for Korbin Forrister at Kansas

After a month long hiatus from racing, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is back in action this week. Korbin Forrister is set to make his tenth career start in the NCWTS Friday night in the Toyota Tundra 250 at the Kansas Speedway behind the wheel of the No. 08 Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery Chevrolet Silverado.

Today the National Motorsports Final Appeals Officer, Mr. Bryan Moss, heard and considered the appeal of a P5 penalty issued on March 31, 2015 to Richard Childress (owner), Ryan Newman (driver), Lucas Lambert (crew chief), James Bender (tire technician) and Philip Surgen (race engineer) relative to NASCAR Sprint Cup Series vehicle #31 at Auto Club Speedway.

After a Competitive Run at Barber, Rahal Looks Forward to the Angie’s List GP of Indianapolis

The Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis will mark the second Verizon IndyCar Series race on the 2.439-mile road course. Last year the team prepared an entry for Graham Rahal and Oriol Servia. Rahal started 12th, ran as high as sixth and was 11th when he was hit by the lapped car of Montoya on a restart on Lap 51/82 and ultimately finished 21st. Servia qualified 22nd and was struck by the flying tire of another car after the standing start.

Larson’s first start in the NSCS came in the fall of 2013 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and was followed that season by starts at Martinsville Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway, where he led one lap in the season finale.
