Roush Fenway Racing driver Ryan Reed made his 50th career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, a milestone that the 21-year-old Bakersfield, Calif. native was told he would never reach after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2011.

Special Scheme for FedEx 400: The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Dover International Speedway for Sunday’s FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks, the fifth time FedEx has sponsored the 400-lap event at the “Monster Mile.”

CARL CATCHES 300: Toyota driver Carl Edwards earned his first victory in a Camry in Sunday night’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, a triumph that also marked the 300th combined victory for Toyota across NASCAR’s three national touring series.

With a visit to Victory Lane, he will join a club that includes NASCAR Hall of Famers Richard Petty (Martinsville-15, North Wilkesboro-15, Richmond-13, Rockingham-11, Daytona-10), Darrell Waltrip (Bristol-12, Martinsville-11, North Wilkesboro-10), Dale Earnhardt (Talladega-10) and David Pearson (Darlington-10).

HScott Motorsports with Chip Ganassi (HSMCG) announced today that road-course racing veteran Justin Marks will be behind the wheel of the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro for two NASCAR XFINITY Series events this season. He will compete for HSMCG at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio on Aug. 16 and Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisc. on Aug. 29.

Justin Jennings returns to the #63 Mittler Brothers Machine & Tool Chevy Silverado as he makes his second series start at Dover International Speedway.

After two consecutive point races of having the dominant car, Martin Truex Jr. returns to his home track this weekend – Dover International Speedway, site of his first career Sprint Cup Series win (June 4, 2007).
