Chevrolet has a rich history at Kansas Speedway. Chevy drivers have won nine of the 18 races held at Kansas Speedway and have captured the pole eight times. Team Chevy competitors have claimed 42 top-five and 87 top-10 finishes at Kansas.

Nickelodeon today announced world-renowned artist KAWS is reimagining SpongeBob SquarePants for the SpongeBob 400 Sprint Cup race on May 9, at the Kansas Speedway. Through this collaboration, KAWS will bring his dynamic, and avant-garde, interpretation of the most absorbing personality on all TV to NASCAR fans across the country. Elements will feature the artist’s KAWSBOB character and include a custom 3-ft. trophy and a 70-ft. x 900-ft. mural spanning the track’s backstretch

A couple of weeks ago Dale Earnhardt would have turned 65 years old and there were many tributes in the media to the Intimidator. There were many more, in various forms, all over social media. But one thing I noted via Twitter was that Kevin Harvick had given Dale Earnhardt Jr. a diecast car of one of his father’s first race cars. What was even neater was the fact that you could see in the photo that the car was autographed.

Joey Gase and Go Fas Racing announce their sponsorship line up for the SpongeBob SquarePants 400 at Kansas Speedway. Tri State Tower, the premier cell phone and data National Turnkey Construction and maintenance company in the Midwest, will be the hood sponsor on the #32 Ford Fusion.

“Kansas Speedway has been repaved in the past few years and it’s a lot smoother,” Allmendinger said. “I really hope the grip level at Kansas relates to Vegas (Las Vegas Motor Speedway) because we really ran strong there and finished sixth. We have got one of our newer No. 47 Dillons/SCOTT Products Chevrolet SS race cars that we are taking to Kansas. I feel like we will have a fast car with what we learned and how we ran at Vegas. I feel pretty good about this weekend.”

After a month long hiatus from racing, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is back in action this week. Korbin Forrister is set to make his tenth career start in the NCWTS Friday night in the Toyota Tundra 250 at the Kansas Speedway behind the wheel of the No. 08 Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery Chevrolet Silverado.
