Brennan Poole returns for the fourth of five consecutive races in the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway (TSS). In five XFINITY Series starts in 2015, Poole has one top-10 and four top-15 finishes, with an average start of 17.2 and average finish of 14.4. In two prior ARCA Racing Series superspeedway starts, including one at TSS, Poole has two top-10 finishes.

Roush Fenway Racing returns to the track that is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get, as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) heads to Talladega Superspeedway, a track that has seen a Roush Fenway Ford visit Victory Lane seven times.

Just last week, Talladega Superspeedway celebrated NASCAR Hall of Famer Bill Elliott’s 1985 victory, the most incredible comeback win in NASCAR history when he made up nearly two laps, more than five miles all under green flag conditions.

NASCAR XFINITY Driver, Benny Gordon has announced he will make his first start of the 2015 season this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway in the Winn-Dixie 300. Gordon will be driving the #17 VSI - Somerset Regional Water Resources (SRWR) Toyota Camry.

JUST THE FACTS: Sunday's race will be Buescher's first Sprint Cup start at Talladega Superspeedway ... Buescher has one XFINITY Series start at the 2.66-mile oval, a second-place finish last May ... CSX returns to the No. 34 Ford with its "Play It Safe" railroad-safety message.

All-Time Restrictor-Plate Wins Leader: Gordon is the all-time leader in restrictor-plate victories with 12. Dale Earnhardt Sr. ranks second with 11 while Hendrick Motorsports teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr. is third with eight.

“Talladega is intense. You can run three, sometimes four-wide lap after lap. You really need to be on top of your game at all times and stay razor sharp. So I’ve got to make sure to race smart all day long and be there at the end.

Chris Buescher makes his second NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday. Last season, Buescher started eighth and finished second. In this season’s first restrictor plate race at Daytona International Speedway, Buescher finished second while pushing his Roush Fenway Racing teammate Ryan Reed to his first win.

Reed has one start in the NASCAR XFINITY Series at Talladega Superspeedway, which came in May 2014. Reed qualified fourth and led the opening 29 laps of the race before getting caught up in a wreck on Lap 62 and finishing in the 24th position.

“I finished second in this race last year and I’m excited to go back. Talladega is a good opportunity for us to win a race, its pure speed and we have fast Speedway cars, so I’m looking forward to this weekend.”
