Saturday’s Drive To Stop Diabetes 300 Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway will mark Harrison Rhodes’ first run at the track. Although daunting, it’s one Rhodes is approaching with anticipation. He’ll race in the Flex Seal No. 0 Chevrolet for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller.

In 2012, Chastain finished third in a Camping World Truck Series race at one of motorsports’ toughest short tracks.He is scheduled to make his Xfinity Series debut at BMS in Saturday’s Drive To Stop Diabetes 300. He’ll be in the No. 4 Chevrolet fielded by JD Motorsports with Gary Keller.

“I’ve been around that track enough to know what’s what,” Cassill said. “It really takes a couple of races there to kind of figure out what you want to do and when you want to try it. It’s a tough, fast little track.”

“It’s one of those places you have to prepare yourself for mentally because it is a grind,” Allmendinger said. “There is a lot that can happen that can distract you mentally and that’s the toughest thing. There are certain aspects of the place that I like and some that I don’t like. You just have to be ready mentally to fight for 500 laps and you can’t let your guard down.”

Our Hot 20 is a look at those in contention to slip into one of the sixteen Chase spots. A win while in the Top 30 in points could prove to be just as good. Neither matters at the moment for Tony Stewart. Sadly, 2015 has been a year Smoke has been a participant, not a competitor.

"As all of you are aware, this is obviously the first time for me speaking publicly about my accident in Daytona in the NASCAR XFINITY Series race, so thank you all for coming here today to Joe Gibbs Racing to meet with me and let me tell you my story and answer some of your questions.

Larson will be making his third start at BMS this weekend, where he had finishes of 10th and 12th last season. The 10th place finish in last year’s spring race was Larson’s first ever top-10 in the NSCS. Larson has also raced at Bristol on four occasions in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS), scoring one pole award and three top-five finishes.

"When you have a good racecar, Bristol is a fun place to race. Everything happens quicker - the closing rates are fast. The initial start to the race is always important. If we can get off to a good start, we can work on track position and focus on getting out with a really good finish."

"I am really looking forward to getting on the track this weekend in Bristol. It’s a place unlike any other on the planet; it’s such a great atmosphere. I was able to win my first ARCA race at a very similar race track to Bristol, Salem Speedway in Indiana.

"Bristol [Motor Speedway] is one of the tracks that we go to that has a little extra special meaning. I got my first XFINITY win there, and that's something I'll never forget. It's such a challenging track, and I can really make a difference there as a driver.
