NASCAR Cup Series

No driver has opened a season with seven consecutive top 10s since Jimmie Johnson in 2005. Until now. Three different drivers – Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano and Martin Truex Jr. – have each opened the year with seven straight top-10 finishes. Unsurprisingly, they rank 1-3 in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver points standings.

Reed has competed at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) three times in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. He earned his best finish of 14th at the track in fall 2014 after starting 19th.

“It’s pretty clear to see why Bristol is one of my favorite race tracks. I’ve celebrated in Victory Lane as an XFINITY driver, as well as I won my first career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol.

“It’s been a busy week with testing in Kentucky, but I’m really looking forward to Bristol this weekend. We run hard at Bristol, which is always fun and exciting. You race right up against the fence, as fast as you can go. Track position is key - you’ve got to be up front and stay out front.”

“I love Bristol. It’s home. Growing up in Knoxville it was always a goal of mine to race here. I love racing with my friends and family here to watch. Hopefully we can give them a great show this weekend and get this AdvoCare Ford up toward the front after 500 laps.”

Chris Buescher makes his fourth NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday. In his previous three starts, Buescher has two top-10s, one of which was a seventh-place result in his third-ever NASCAR XFINITY Series start in 2013.

Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway marks Wallace’s first start in the series at the half-mile track. So far this season, Wallace leads the NASCAR XFINITY Series in the number of quality passes with 351 through the first six races of the 2015 season.

Cole Whitt and Front Row Motorsports' No. 35 team will have a jolt of new support for the race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway this weekend. Tweaker Energy Shot joins the team as primary sponsor for Sunday's Food City 500.

"It feels like every time I've gotten the opportunity to get Bristol figured out, something changes, they grind the top groove, something is always a little bit different. Bristol is a challenging track, but it's a fun track.

"I'm really excited to go to Bristol. Last year, we had really competitive racecars for both races. Marcos and I both finished in the Top-Five in the spring. In the fall, I had the most competitive car I have ever driven.
