NASCAR Cup Series

Carl Edwards (13th) was the highest-finishing Toyota driver in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Southern California's Auto Club Speedway, an event won by Brad Keselowski.

JOEY LOGANO – No. 22 AAA Ford Fusion – “We were OK. We got ourselves up to third and it felt like we were pretty good. We were every bit as good as the 20 if we could ever get out front, but we just made a mistake on pit road. I don’t even know what happened yet, so I just know it was a tire violation of some sort, and we weren’t able to recover in time."

For the second straight year, Auto Club Speedway President Dave Allen announced that grandstand tickets for Sunday’s Auto Club 400 have been sold out.

Kurt Busch placed his No. 41 Haas Automation Chevrolet SS on the pole position for Sunday’s Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway, round five of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. A fast lap of 38.889 seconds (185.124 mph) earned Busch his first pole of 2015 and 17th of his career. This is his fourth pole in 22 races at the 2.0-mile facility for Busch, a track record.

MATT KENSETH, No. 20 Dewalt Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing - Starting Position: 3rd - How important is it to run well at this track in Toyota's backyard? "I really like this track and with Toyota being out here and stuff, it's fun to come here and race – you want to do well and you want to do well every week."

KURT BUSCH, NO. 41 HAAS AUTOMATION CHEVROLET SS – POLE WINNER - HOW IMPORTANT IS THIS WITH HAAS AUTOMATION RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD? “This is huge for Gene Haas. CHRIS BUESCHER – No. 34 Dockside Logistics Ford Fusion – “That’s what we were hoping for is to go out there and lay down a pretty solid lap – nice and consistent with nothing crazy. We didn’t hit anything today, so that’s a plus. It was tough getting out of the XFINITY car with our 60 team and trying to figure out what I needed to adapt to to go out there and run a solid lap.
