Another addition to Richard Petty Motorsports' (RPM) sponsor line-up in 2015 was announced today. Transportation Impact will join RPM as a full-season associate sponsor on the No. 9 Ford driven by Sam Hornish Jr.

NASCAR kicks off its season this weekend culminating with the 57th annual Daytona 500 Sunday at Daytona International Speedway. Below is a complete list of on track activities for the Sprint Cup, XFINITY and Camping World Truck Series plus scheduled press conferences for Wednesday, Feb. 18 – Sunday, Feb. 22.

Despite the damage to his Fastenal Ford that was obtained in a 14 car pile-up on lap 45 in Saturday night’s Sprint Unlimited at Daytona International Speedway, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was working his way up through the field before a cut tire sent him into the outside wall resulting in a 16th-place finish.

Biffle qualified third, narrowly missing a front row starting position. Biffle brushed the wall early on in the 500, but rebounded to lead eight laps on his way to an eighth-place finish.

DAYTONA LOOP DATA: In the last 20 races at Daytona, Kasey Kahne ranks third in green-flag passes (4,093), ninth in average running position (16.951), ninth in quality passes (2,446), 10th in laps in top 15 (1,818) and tied for 10th in fastest laps run (71).

The 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season officially begins this weekend with the Daytona 500, which airs on FOX Sports at 1 p.m. Ford has won “The Great American Race” 13 times by 10 different drivers.

Trevor Bayne returns to the sight of his first career NASCAR victory and one of the biggest wins in sports history; Daytona International Speedway (DIS). Bayne scored one of the biggest upsets in professional sports history in the 2011 running of the Daytona 500.

“So far, so good,” said Martin Truex Jr. about the way Daytona Speedweeks is shaping up for his Furniture Row Racing team. “We need to continue what we’ve come down here for and that’s to win the Daytona 500. I truly believe we have the car that can make that happen.”

Sprint Unlimited Recap: Hamlin finished 19th in Saturday night’s Sprint Unlimited at Daytona. The defending race winner was collected in a Lap 45 incident triggered by a spin at the front of the field. Hamlin checked up to avoid the melee, but was hit from behind and sent spinning through the infield grass, where he sustained heavy damage to the front end of the #11 FedEx Express Toyota. Hamlin started ninth and ran throughout the draft pack during the event won by JGR teammate Matt Kenseth.
