Both Greg Biffle and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. were caught up in multiple accidents in a wreck-filled Sprint Unlimited All-Star race on Saturday night a Daytona International Speedway, settling for 14th and 16th-place finishes.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished 12th (Ryan Newman), 17th (Austin Dillon) and 21st (Paul Menard).

After taking the lead with 20 laps to go, Matt Kenseth never looked back as he held the field off in a late race restart, getting ahead of the field and keeping the gap till the very end, with a perfectly timed block on Martin Truex Jr.

“The wall. I don’t know. I really need to see a replay to give an honest answer. The car is tore up so we are out but it was fast, so that was good.”

Paul Menard will start on the pole Saturday night for the Sprint Unlimited exhibition race at Daytona International Speedway. He was awarded the pole after a blind draw determined the starting lineup.

Roush Fenway Racing drivers Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Greg Biffle will roll off seventh and 20th in tomorrow night’s Sprint Unlimited All-Star race at Daytona International Speedway. The non-points event serves as the ‘kickoff’ to the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup season. The starting positions are based on a random crew chief/fan drawing that took place earlier today.

The wait for NASCAR racing in 2015 is finally over. We will see season two of the new Chase era kick off, as 25 drivers prepare to give it their all in the Sprint Unlimited.

The No. 55 Aaron’s Dream Machine team at Michael Waltrip Racing will wait until the third race of the season before its regular driver Brian Vickers climbs behind the wheel of the team’s Toyota Camry.
