Stenhouse will compete in his second consecutive Sprint Unlimited in only his third year in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

When Ryan Blaney makes his official debut in the iconic No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion in the 2015 Daytona 500, he will be mindful of his rookie status, but will be looking for ways to get to and stay near the front of the pack.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns to racing this week at Daytona International Speedway with the Sprint Unlimited Saturday evening and Sprint Cup Series Coors Light Pole Qualifying on Sunday.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is ready to hit the track with the sport’s biggest race, the Daytona 500, and Clint Bowyer is ready. The Emporia, Kan., native has yet to win at Daytona International Speedway but has come close. He has two fourth-place finishes (2010 and 2009) in the 500 and also finished fourth in July 2013.

Denny and Dave: Hamlin begins the 2015 NASCAR season with his third-career Cup Series crew chief. Dave Rogers climbs atop the #11 FedEx pit box following five years with fellow JGR driver Kyle Busch and replaces Darian Grubb, who served as Hamlin’s signal-caller for the previous three seasons. Hamlin and Rogers enjoyed considerable success together in the Xfinity Series while each came through the ranks, winning seven races together in 62 total events from 2006-2009. Rogers was also the crew chief of the #11 FedEx team when the program started in 2005.

Vince Vaughn, the star of 20th Century Fox’s and New Regency’s upcoming comedy “Unfinished Business,” in theaters everywhere March 6, will serve as Grand Marshal for the 57th annual DAYTONA 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race Sunday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. ET on FOX from Daytona International Speedway. “The Great American Race” will also broadcast live on FOX Deportes, Motor Racing Network, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio with additional coverage on NASCAR.com.

Eight Sprint Unlimited Wins for Richard Childress Racing ...RCR has earned eight checkered flags in the Sprint Unlimited winning in 1986, 1988, 1991, 1993 and 1995 with driver Dale Earnhardt, and again in 2009, 2010 and 2013 with Kevin Harvick.

The 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season kicks off on Saturday night with the annual Sprint Unlimited where five Ford drivers – Aric Almirola, Greg Biffle, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – will be looking to win the race for the first time.

A new season, new hopes, new drivers, old drivers with new teams, and a whole lot of things I want to see come out of 2015.
