Joey Logano scored his first Chase victory at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the Sylvania 300 today by holding off Kyle Larson and Kevin Harvick. It was Logano's seventh career win and his fourth of the season. The victory locks both Penske teams into the next round of the Chase.

In an exciting green-white-checkered ending to the Sylvania 300 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS), Rookie-of-the-Year contender, Kyle Larson, made another top showing with a runner-up finish in his No. 42 Target Chevrolet SS.

This is my home race track, the coolest place to win for me. I could never pick a better race track to win. I watched my first Cup race here when I was five and I won that other Cup race here, but I just felt like I had to win one the right way here, and this means so much.

“The guys didn’t quit on me today and I’m driving my heart out,” said Truex. “Though we made good adjustments today and came through at the end, we struggled for most of the weekend and need to work out some issues. But the guys worked hard and kept on making the car better.”

Kyle Busch (eighth), who is one of 16 drivers in the Chase playoff, was the highest-finishing Toyota driver in Sunday afternoon's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Our Target Chevy wasn't even a top-15 car the first 100 laps, and Shine (Chris Heroy) and everybody on this Target team did a great job to get me in the game.

How does it sound to be going to be going to the next round? “It feels good to go into the next one. We’ve got to keep doing what we’re doing though. We’ve got to keep our eye on the prize and think about the big trophy at the end.”

Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion, can become the first Ford driver to win three straight NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races since Rusty Wallace did it in June 1994 (Dover, Pocono, Michigan). Keselowski, who is on the pole for tomorrow’s race, was also fastest in today’s first practice session.

After winning the first race of the Chase, Brad Keselowski is on top again after claiming the Coors Light Pole Award Friday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in his No. 2 Miller Lite Ford. His lap of 140.598 mph in the final round set a track qualifying record as he surpassed Jamie McMurray in the last few minutes of the round to gain the top starting position. McMurray will start second on the outside pole.

In the final round of qualifying for Sunday’s Sylvania 300 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Jamie McMurray turned a quick lap of 27.121 seconds, 140.437 mph to claim the second-place starting position in his No. 1 Belkin/WEMO Chevrolet SS.
