Roush Fenway Racing has announced that Ortho and its complete line of home, lawn and garden pest control products will serve as the anchor partner on the No. 16 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) entry driven by two-time NASCAR Champion Greg Biffle in a multi-year deal.

NASCAR announced today it has elevated the responsibilities of Steve Phelps and Steve O’Donnell with both assuming leadership roles in NASCAR’s Charlotte region offices effective immediately. Michigan Recap: Denny Hamlin finished seventh in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway, recording his fifth top-10 finish in the last six events in the #11 FedEx Toyota. Hamlin restarted fifth following the race’s final caution with 17 laps to go and crossed the finish line seventh behind eventual winner Jeff Gordon.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway is being broadcast live nationally by ABC on Saturday night, Aug. 23, but viewing will be affected in 15 markets due to NFL preseason games airing on local ABC affiliates.

Tony Stewart will not compete at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend. This is the third straight race that he has missed since the sprint car he was driving at Canandaigua (N.Y) Motorsports Park on August 9th was involved in an accident which claimed the life of 20-year-old Kevin Ward Jr.

McMurray has made 23 NSCS starts at Bristol Motor Speedway. In those starts he has three top-five and nine top-10 finishes. He has completed 11,203 of 11,516 (97.3%) laps of competition and led 31 laps. He has a best starting position of third (August 2007) and a best finish of third on two occasions (August 2004, August 2010).
