We ran very well here in February and of course we had the win the last time we were at a restrictor-plate race so it’s always a wild one."

It’s pretty cool. We’ve had an opportunity -- Aaron's has presented an opportunity to have some national champions over the years."

The last time Michael Annett was at Daytona, he was running in the top 10 with less than 50 laps to go. It was his debut race in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and, to him, nothing would've been more thrilling than winning the Daytona 500 in his first-ever race in NASCAR's premier division.

When most NASCAR fans think of the Wood Brothers and the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane team and racing at Daytona International Speedway, the first thing that usually comes to mind is the team’s five victories in the Daytona 500. But the Woods actually have had more success in the summertime, winning 10 races on the July 4th weekend, making team founder Glen Wood the all-time leader in car owner victories in points-paying Cup races at Daytona, with a total of 15.
