NASCAR announced Thursday that it has reinstated Ty Norris, an executive with Michael Waltrip Racing. Norris had been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR last Sept. 9 as part of the penalties assessed to MWR following the sanctioning body’s review of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race Sept. 7 at Richmond International Raceway. Norris remains on indefinite NASCAR probation.

Farm Rich, the primary partner that adorned the No. 34 Ford for Front Row Motorsports' first trip to Victory Lane, will return to the team for a second straight season. The frozen snacks and appetizers brand will be the primary sponsor of David Ragan's Ford Fusion at Phoenix (Ariz.) International Raceway in March.

Today, NASCAR's Vice President of Competition and Racing Development made the announcement that NASCAR will not feature single-car qualifying in 2014. Instead, they will be going to the group knock-0ut qualifying that is featured in open wheel racing.

In a move aimed toward enhancing the fan experience watching at the track and at home, NASCAR has announced a new group qualifying format for its three national series that is more compelling, more closely emulates actual on-track competition and underlines the sport’s on-going commitment to innovation.

Wurth will serve as a primary sponsor of the No. 2 Team Penske Ford Fusion for four NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races in 2014. Team Penske announced that the No. 2 Wurth Ford, with former series champion Brad Keselowski behind the wheel, will make its debut on March 23 at the Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway, in Fontana, Calif. Wurth will also be an associate sponsor on the No. 2 Team Penske Ford for the balance of the 2014 season.
