Camry driver Matt Kenseth (second) was the top-finishing Toyota in Sunday afternoon's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Virginia's Martinsville Speedway.

BRAD KESELOWSKI – No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion – “It was a decent day. It seems like every time we come to Martinsville with the Miller Lite Ford Fusion we run right in that fourth, fifth, sixth range and I was just trying to break out and get to victory lane, but came up a bit short today. It was a solid effort. We were quite a ways off at the start of the race and Paul Wolfe and everybody on the 2 crew dialed us in a little better and got some decent track position there at the end when it counts.”

In the closing laps of the Kroger 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway, Ty Dillon, grandson of Richard Childress, and Kevin Harvick, driver of Richard Childress’s No. 29 Sprint Cup Series car, made contact crashing both trucks.

Joey Logano, driver of the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Fusion, recorded the fastest single-lap speed in Saturday’s first practice session at Martinsville Speedway in preparation for tomorrow’s Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500. Logano spoke about being at the top of the chart before heading out for happy hour.

David Ragan, driver of the No. 34 Taco Bell Ford Fusion, posted the best qualifying effort in Front Row Motorsports history yesterday when he finished eighth overall. Ragan, who won the organization’s first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race earlier this year at Talladega, spoke about yet another milestone for his team.

Joe Gibbs Racing driver, Denny Hamlin, turns in a lap of 99.595 mph to set a new track record and score the Coors Light pole for the Goody’s 500 at Martinsville Speedway. Today’s record was the 18th new track record this season.

DALE EARNHARDT, JR., NO. 88 NATIONAL GUARD CHEVROLET SS, met with members of the media at Martinsville Speedway following his qualifying run. He discussed the announcement that National Guard will once again sponsor the No. 88 Chevrolet SS in 2014, NASCAR’s mandate of baseline testing for concussions and other topics.
