Building up momentum for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship battle at his hometown track last weekend, Timothy Peters continues his drive for the title at Texas Motor Speedway this Friday for the WinStar World Casino 350. Peters will be debuting Red Horse Racing chassis 007 at Texas; one of the new-era RHR Toyota Tundra chassis built entirely by team fabricators at Red Horse Racing.

Ron Hornaday was a favorite going into Saturday afternoon's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway and, after what has proved to be a tough season for the four-time series champion, the former race winner proved he is still worthy of such recognition. Hornaday had his No. 9 AmFmEnergy.com /ARMOUR Foods Chevrolet running as high as second before a broken oil pump belt sent him to the garage late in the 200-lap, 105.2-mile event and relegated the team to a 33rd-place finish.

Parker Kligerman, driver of the No. 7 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra, will return to the place of his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start when the series rolls into Texas Motor Speedway this weekend for the WinStar World Casino 350. Scoring a top-10 finish in that first start and following up with solid finishes at the 1.5-mile oval after that, Kligerman is ready to continue his battle for the championship on Friday.

Menard gained seven positions in the final 10 percent (50 laps) of the TUMS Fast Relief 500, ranking him third in the NASCAR Loop Data category of Closers, while Burton gained four positions ranking him fourth.

With Martinsville (Va.) Speedway known for its short-track shenanigans and the wild bumping and banging style of racing, Justin Loftonand the No. 6 Weekends Warriors Productions / Lofton Cattle Chevrolet battled inside the top 10 for most of the afternoon on Saturday; however, with just three laps to go, Lofton suffered a punctured left rear tire. Fighting to hold on to the truck, Lofton spun on lap 199, but managed to hobble across the finish line to end the day on the lead lap and in the 19th position.

Martinsville Speedway has been a thorn in Kyle Busch’s side lately, but in Sunday afternoon's Tums Fast Relief 500 he nearly pulled it out. Busch rebounded from an early spin to finish second to Jimmie Johnson, unable to make a move on the eventual winner and new point leader during the race’s final five lap dash.

A costly midrace spin-out as a result of his car getting tagged on the tight Martinsville Speedway oval spoiled another strong driving effort by Kurt Busch, who fought back to a 15th-place finish in Sunday’s Tums Fast Relief 500 Sprint Cup race at Martinsville Speedway.

Jimmie Johnson, No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet, rose to the occasion once again to collect his seventh NASCAR Sprint Cup career win at Martinsville Speedway; and his first in the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Johnson led eight times for a race-high 193 laps; and held-off stiff competition on the final restart en route to victory of the TUMS Fast Relief 500, round 33 on the 2012 tour.

Jimmie Johnson would take the lead late in the TUMS Fast Relief 500 to take the victory and the points lead, two points ahead of Brad Keselowski.

Camry driver Kyle Busch (second) was the first Toyota driver to the finish line in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Virginia's Martinsville Speedway.
