Each race weekend, SRT Motorsports Engineer Howard Comstock gives his insight on the ‘Keys for Success’ for the upcoming race. This week’s focus is on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway.

Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Subway Ford Fusion, is 11th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series point standings – 34 points behind 10th-place Brad Keselowski after 17 races.

With every Daytona or Talladega event there are list of drivers who consistently are considered the favorites. In years past the likes of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Tony Stewart or even Kyle Busch were at the top of that list.

Denny Hamlin started having back spasms shortly after the Kentucky race. By the end of the next day it was real tight. “I sat down for dinner and couldn't get up. I've had a history of back spasms now for probably four years and it just flared up again."
