NASCAR Cup Series

The No. 00 Aaron's Dream Machine driver David Reutimann and his Michael Waltrip Racing team will spend Tuesday and Wednesday testing at the newly configured Phoenix International Raceway before traveling to Kansas Speedway for Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race.

No. 56 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota driver Martin Truex Jr. is at Phoenix International Raceway this week testing the newly-reconfigured and repaved track.

Roush Fenway left the Monster Mile of Dover holding the points lead in the Nationwide Series and tied for the lead in the the Sprint Cup Series. The team will look to continue its strong performance this weekend in Kansas.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation's Centennial Celebration will be commemorated by Austin Dillon's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut driving the No.98 Curb Agajanian/Reagan Centennial/Camping World/Curb Records Chevrolet in the Oct. 9 Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Carl Edwards on racing at Kansas Speedway: “There is absolutely nothing better than racing in front of your family and friends at your hometown track this weekend at Kansas Speedway."

Ragan on racing at Kansas Speedway : “We always look to improve at tracks from the first event there and Kansas is a track that really fits our program. Our engines run well there and our cars are fast."

Johnson has made 10 Sprint Cup Series starts at Kansas Speedway, where he has one win, three top-five and eight top-10 finishes.

With the championship races in three series headed to Kansas Speedway Oct. 7 – 9, some local champions – retired Kansas City Chief Ed Budde, retired Kansas City Royal Greg Pryor and retired New York Islander Ken Morrow - are also making their way to Kansas Speedway, along with Major General Lee Tafanelli.

Kenseth on racing at Kansas Speedway : “Kansas and Chicago are a lot alike when you look at 1.5-mile tracks, and I thought that we had a really strong car in Chicago a few weeks ago, so I’m looking forward to a great run this weekend at Kansas."
