I haven’t eaten much today.’ It’s fun having the pressure of being in that environment and having that feeling. You are racing for something very prestigious. It is a meaningful thing. It is a big damn deal. It is fun to be competing for that and an honor. Something I haven’t been able to do in a long time. It is neat to be back in the swing of that because of my team and the organization I am with.”

I am terrible. You come to a track where you know you have a shot. When you won here in the spring you know you have a shot. It is cool weather, kind of the same conditions. Obviously it wasn’t the pole and Kyle (Busch) was faster. Kyle is really good at laying laps down. I like the Sunday afternoon drives.”

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M’s Halloween Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing - What clicked for you at Martinsville dating back to the fall race in 2015? “I’m not sure what kind of started clicking for us. I had a few top-fives I think before that as well too with Dave Rogers. I think that’s when it really was starting to finally set in. Maybe 2012 or 13ish, we always had decent runs going here, but we never materialized throughout the entire day and make the right adjustments the entire day to be there at the end."

Clint Bowyer heads back to Martinsville Speedway looking to kick off the Round of 8 playoffs the same way he did at the track in the spring, with a win. Bowyer spoke about returning to the site of victory and what it will take to advance into the Championship 4 at Homestead.

Roush Fenway Racing gears up for the final short track race of the 2018 season this weekend as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) heads to Martinsville Speedway, the shortest track on the circuit, for a 500-lap event on Sunday.
