PAUL MENARD, NO. 27 MOEN/MENARDS CHEVROLET SS – Finished 3rd "We really didn't want to hang out in the back, but we got involved in a wreck really early and once you get back there, it is really hard to get back up to the front. I was just waiting for something to happen at the end of those stages. We weren't in the top-15 so I just bailed out of the pack for the stages. I had a really good handling car from yesterday in the draft practice. All weekend long it handled really well. I knew it would race really well tonight."

Ryan Blaney and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion were in the lead at Daytona International Speedway with 25 laps to go but ended up crashing out of the Coke Zero 400, ending up 26th on the scoring pylon.

Recap: Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Detroit Genuine Parts dodged two incidents in Saturday night’s Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway, but a third ended his night early with a 31st place finish. After starting the race from the third position, Keselowski quickly assumed the lead on the fourth lap of the first, 40-lap stage and cruised to his third stage win of the season. Following a four-tire stop with no adjustments during the break, Keselowski restarted the second, 40-lap stage from the 10th position.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. registered the second win of his NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series career with his win tonight. The win is the eighth of the season for Ford, most among manufacturers and matching its win total from 2016. In addition, it continues a stretch that has seen Ford win three of the last four Cup events.

Rookie Erik Jones (ninth) was the highest-finishing Toyota Camry driver in Saturday’s race at Daytona International Speedway. Matt Kenseth led 21 laps and won Stage 2, his second stage win this season and Toyota’s 19th stage win.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. took the lead in overtime to earn his second victory of his Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series career.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. scored his 14th career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) pole by posting the fastest lap at Daytona International Speedway (DIS) in his No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet SS during qualifying for the Coke Zero 400 on Friday afternoon. The lap of 47.127 seconds and 190.973 mph gave Earnhardt his second career pole at DIS and first since 2013.

Whether it's Dale Earnhardt or Dale Earnhardt Jr., the Earnhardt name is synonymous with racing at the world center of racing.

Furniture Row Racing’s Erik Jones qualified 17th and teammate Martin Truex, Jr. 25th for Saturday night’s Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway.
