NASCAR Cup Series

It’s a track that has been pretty good to me since I started racing in the top series of this sport. I raced there for the first time in the Truck Series and won that race. Then, it’s a track where I have three wins in the Cup cars and, when you’re able to go to a track where you’ve had that kind of success, it just gives you that confidence.

Gene Haas has a present for fellow Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) co-owner Tony Stewart this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon. The gray-and-red paint scheme of Haas Automation, the largest CNC (computer numerically controlled) machine tool builder in North America, will adorn the three-time champion’s No. 14 Chevrolet in Sunday’s New Hampshire 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

Richard Childress has four victories as a team owner at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with Robby Gordon (2001), Kevin Harvick (2006) and Clint Bowyer (2007 and 2010).

Brad Keselowski: Keselowski won for the fourth time this year, and second time consecutively, with the victory in the Quaker State 400.

“New Hampshire will be fun this weekend. We’re right there in the mix of it for making the Chase and know that we need to keep on having solid runs week in and week out. I’m confident that (crew chief) Matt (Puccia) will give me another good AdvoCare Ford this weekend and that we can get up there and have another strong run on Sunday.”

Truex, who had a solid first half of the season in this year’s Cup races, scoring one win, three top fives, eight top 10s, a series’ leading 866 laps led and ranking seventh in Sprint Cup driver points, feels New Hampshire can give him a jump start for the remainder of the season in his No. 78 Furniture Row/Denver Mattress Toyota.

"I love Loudon. It's the site of my first ever NASCAR start in the Camping World Truck Series in 2007. I feel like it was a good track for me in the XFINITY Series, and I'm looking forward to getting back there.

The No. 43 Smithfield Ford was fast at Kentucky Speedway this past weekend. A fuel mileage game that saw Aric Almirola run out of gas coming to the white flag thwarted what would have been a Top-Five finish, but it was the team's strongest intermediate race of the 2016 season.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is in Loudon, New Hampshire this weekend with Ford Performance and Team Penske driver Brad Keselowski looking for his third straight victory. Keselowski, who has won the past two races at Daytona and Kentucky, has one series win at NHMS (2014).
