I hate night races. I always have. Just say that my history is that NASCAR Sprint Cup races are held on Sundays at 1 p.m. and lights, regardless of how they pretty they are, just don’t get it.

As NASCAR returns to short-track racing this weekend in Bristol, Brian Scott and the No. 44 Ford will be "Back in Black". The No. 44 Ford Fusion will have a unique black and "Petty Blue" paint scheme, representing Shore Lodge. Scott is coming off of a 27th-place finish at Texas, when a late-race wreck caused damage to the front end and right side of the car, causing Scott to pit three times in the final 40 laps of the race.
