Hendrick Motorsports is looking to sweep the field this 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup season. Owner Rick Hendrick is nothing but grateful for his 2016 team including freshman Chase Elliot, who will be driving the legendary No. 24 car.

It was announced today that NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver, Alex Bowman, will not return to Tommy Baldwin Racing in 2016.

Daytona International Speedway announced the successful installment of Fifth Third Bank ATMs at the newly redeveloped Speedway this week. The seven ATMs have been strategically placed throughout the racing venue to accommodate the most fans. One ATM will be located in the tours building, and gates 2, 3 and 4 will each house two ATMs.

Richard Childress Racing and Circle Sport - Leavine Family Racing have agreed to form a technical alliance in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition, beginning with the 2016 season.

A new season means new opportunities. As Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) anticipates the 2016 season, the team is looking forward to building on what was in many ways a very successful season in 2015.

Roush Fenway Racing has fallen on hard times over the last few years. The former leaders of Ford Racing have also fallen behind other Ford teams including Team Penske and to a lesser extinct, Richard Petty Motorsports. RFR feels that they are on the right track now. Time will tell.

Aric Almirola, the most veteran driver in the Richard Motorsports stable doesn't want to look at the past but has optimism for the future. After making the Chase in 2014 on his victory at the Firecracker 400 at Daytona, disappointment was obvious as he discussed 2015.

“What do I attribute to my success? It’s hard getting out of this business once you get in it," team owner Roger Penske said. "To me, it’s my day job on the weekends. We’re in this for one reason—to win. I will be at the races as long as I can stand up.
