The 16-driver field in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup will be decided this weekend as Richmond International Raceway hosts the 26th and final race of the regular season on Saturday night. Ford drivers Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski have already clinched spots, but a win by anyone from Roush Fenway Racing, Richard Petty Motorsports or Front Row Motorsports would secure an additional berth.

The crew worked feverishly to repair his Cargill Ford to maximize points but Stenhouse Jr. settled with a 38th-place finish at Darlington Raceway

NASCAR racing returned to their roots with Darlington Raceway returning to Labor Day weekend and the track celebrated the return with a 70’s “throwback” weekend. Greg Biffle’s Ortho Ford took on a throwback scheme in honor of the weekend and led the first of two practice sessions.

Plagued with rear-side damage to his No. 78 Furniture Row/Denver Mattress Chevrolet, Martin Truex Jr. held on to post a ninth-place finish in Sunday night's Bojangles' Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
