Excitement for this year’s Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway is revving up and with less than a month to go until race day, Pure Michigan announced today that one lucky fan will have the chance to serve as honorary starter.

The Pocono Mountains 150 at Pocono Raceway will feature the stars of the NASCAR Camping World Series (NCWTS), along with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) drivers Kyle Busch, Austin Dillon, Kevin Harvick and Brad Keselowski, on Saturday August 1st.

With the month of July ending, Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) heads into August with four races on the slate. Events at Pocono Raceway, Watkins Glen International, Michigan International Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway will give drivers Aric Almirola and Sam Hornish the opportunity to race into The Chase for the Sprint Cup.

Kyle Busch continued his amazing comeback on Sunday at the Jeff Kyle 400 at the Brickyard winning his first Sprint Cup Series race at the track after also winning the NASCAR XFINITY race on Saturday and sweeping the weekend.
