Kyle Larson, driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, on racing at Darlington Raceway: "Darlington (Raceway) is a great track for us. I've ran really well there, basically my whole career, but just haven't gotten the win yet in the (NASCAR) Cup Series."

Carson made his NASCAR Cup Series debut at World Wide Technology Raceway in June, filling in for the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet team.

The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) playoffs officially get underway at Darlington Raceway this weekend with one of the sport’s crown jewel events – the Cook Out Southern 500 – marking the first of three races in the Round of 16.

Kaulig Racing has made six NCS starts at Darlington Raceway and has earned one top five and two top-10 finishes.

It’s a special motorsports weekend as NASCAR takes on the annual Labor Day Classic at Darlington Raceway, while NHRA has the biggest race of the year – the U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.

Harrison Burton and the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane team are headed to Darlington Raceway for Sunday’s Labor Day weekend classic with Jeremy Bullins back as crew chief and long-time crew member and friend William “Jabo” Fulp being honored with his name above the right door of the No. 21 Mustang.

Six Ford drivers will be vying for this year’s championship, including three who have won it at least once in Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski and Kevin Harvick.

Todd Gilliland and the No. 38 team head to Darlington, South Carolina this Labor Day weekend and to the Darlington Raceway for Sunday’s Southern 500- one of NASCAR’s crown jewel races.

Texas Motor Speedway will be bringing the sound of country to the infield with the JAG Metals Camper Shindig that is part of the fan activities for the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Playoffs doubleheader set for Sept. 23-24.

Almirola arrives at Darlington 23rd in the driver standings. He gained two positions after last weekend’s third-place run.
