The NASCAR Cup Series heads to yet another piece of unfamiliar territory as Gateway hosts the Cup stars for the first time in its history. The track does have history of hosting both the Xfinity and Truck Series in which Jack Roush collected five wins.

The last time Kyle Busch competed at World Wide Technology Raceway near St. Louis, he found himself in victory lane at the end of the night.

After 14 races this season, Almirola is the only driver in the NASCAR Cup Series without a DNF (Did Not Finish). He has completed 3,990 of the 3,995 laps run this year – a 99.9 percent completion rate.

This weekend features some first-time events as the NASCAR Cup Series runs at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway, where they are joined by the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series who will compete in the Toyota 200.

This weekend in St. Louis, McDowell and the WISE-EV Charging team are looking to continue their run of top-10 finishes, after their eighth place finish in Charlotte this past weekend.

Buescher on racing at Gateway: “This is another one of those new to us weekends as we visit Gateway for the first time in the Cup Series."

Keselowski is one of a handful of drivers with prior experience at Gateway, with five starts in the NXS from 2007-10. He won the last Xfinity race that was run there in 2010, leading 83 laps after starting 20th.

Chase Briscoe, driver of the No. 14 HighPoint.com Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), returns to familiar territory as the NASCAR Cup Series makes the trek to Madison, Illinois, for the series’ first visit to Gateway International Raceway.

Cole Custer and his fellow NASCAR Cup Series competitors will be making history this weekend when the series takes to the 1.25-mile oval at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Illinois, near St. Louis, for the first time during Sunday’s Enjoy Illinois 300.

NASCAR’s top three series will be split between two facilities this weekend as the Cup and Camping World Truck Series compete at World Wide Technology Raceway and the NASCAR XFINITY drivers run the road course at Portland International Raceway.
