In their first year together, Matt DiBenedetto and the No. 21 Menards/Wrangler RIGGS team have scored three top-three finishes, all on 1.5-mile intermediate tracks.

The Sunflower State is the next stop for the NASCAR circuit as the Cup Series battles for 400 miles Sunday afternoon, in the first of the Round of 8 in the NASCAR Playoffs. Jack Roush has sent nine cars to victory lane at the 1.5-mile track.

It's a big race weekend for us as we head back to Kansas for the second time this season. Our mile and a half program has been so good this year and we had a really strong run going the last time we were there, so hopefully we can do more of the same on Sunday.

It’s the first race in the Round of 8 for all three NASCAR national series as they return to Kansas Speedway this weekend, which will kick off with the championship race for the ARCA Menards Series.

Newman will make his 30th Cup start at Kansas on Sunday. In 29 prior starts, Newman has an average finish of 19.8 with one win, three top fives and seven top-10s.

Clint Bowyer, driver of the No. 14 Rush Truck Centers Ford Mustang, announced last week that he will trade his steering wheel for a microphone and transition to the NASCAR On Fox broadcast booth in 2021.

Kansas is a little different in that you can run the top, which is the preferred groove.

Buescher makes his 10th Cup start at Kansas on Sunday, where he has an average finish of 19.4 with two top-10s. Most recently at the track, Buescher was caught up in an incident this summer finishing 33rd.
