Brad Keselowski won a stage and led 30 laps on his way to a second-place finish Thursday night at Kansas Speedway. Keselowski grabbed his fifth stage win of the 2020 season and racked up his seventh top-five finish. The driver of the Wabash Ford Mustang is second in the NASCAR Cup Series driver standings, 97 points behind leader Kevin Harvick.

The No. 34 Dockside Logistics Ford Mustang of Michael McDowell took the green flag from the 27th position on Thursday night at Kansas Speedway. Under the Competition Caution on Lap 25, McDowell noted that his race car was "really loose" and would pit for 4 tires, fuel, wedge and a track bar adjustment.

I don’t know that we had the best car, we definitely had a top-three car all day. Just went and got it there at the end. I saw the 4 (Kevin Harvick) get loose and usually when you’re loose, you’re not able to run up high.

John Hunter Nemechek took the green flag in Thursday’s NASCAR Cup Series event at Kansas Speedway in the 30th position. Early on, he radioed to tell the team that his No. 38 Digital Ally Body Cameras Ford Mustang was “on the tighter side in [Turns] 1 and 2… not bad on entry.”

BRAD KESELOWSKI, No. 2 Wabash Ford Mustang -- “I thought Denny (Hamlin) and I were probably pretty close to equal the second half of the night. It was just a matter of who got out in front. We didn’t get out in front on the restarts there and he was able to take advantage and bring home the win. All in all, it was still a really good day.”

After working his way up inside the top 15, Ryan Newman was one of several drivers involved in a multi-car incident in the final stage of Thursday night’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway, ultimately causing severe damage that relegated the Wyndham Rewards Ford to a 28th-place finish.

After working his way up to 13th in the final stage in Thursday night’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway, Chris Buescher’s night ended early after getting caught up in a multi-car late-race incident that also involved teammate Ryan Newman. With significant damage to the Fifth Third Bank Ford, the team was unable to get back on track and forced to settle for a 33rd-place finish.

Roush Fenway Racing has announced that Guaranteed Rate – one of the largest retail mortgage lenders in the United States – has teamed with Roush Fenway Racing and will be the primary partner on Ryan Newman’s No. 6 Ford Mustang for the NASCAR Cup Series race in Loudon on August 2.

ver the course of three days, Kansas Speedway will host five NASCAR races across four different series. While the NCS race kicks-off the summer event, the schedule includes a NASCAR Xfinity Series race (July 25), a pair of NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series races (July 24 & 25), and an ARCA Menards Series race on July 24. Currently, all five races plan to run without fans in attendance.
