The Perfect Pairing… Toyota and Richmond Raceway will enjoy their sixth-consecutive year of a partnership where the manufacturer sponsors both the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) race with the Toyota Owners 400 and the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) with the ToyotaCare 250.

Richard Childress Racing's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series history at Richmond Raceway ... Richard Childress has nine Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series victories as a car owner at Richmond Raceway - five with Dale Earnhardt, three with Kevin Harvick and one with Clint Bowyer. Additionally, in 166 starts at the Richmond, Va.-based track, RCR drivers have claimed 37 top-five and 69 top-10 finishes. Childress, a former driver on NASCAR's senior circuit, contributed three of those top-10 finishes from 1976-1978.

Briscoe on Richmond “I have never been to Richmond, but I’ve spent some time on the sim getting ready for this weekend. Richmond will be fun, it’s a short track and gives you options to move around. There is lots of tire spin, which will be good for a dirt guy. I’m really looking forward to getting back in the No. 60 this weekend.”

Gallagher and the No. 23 Allegiant team will utilize chassis no.215; Gallagher ran this chassis this year at ISM Raceway (Start:12th/Finish:14th) and in 2017 at Kentucky Speedway (Start:14th/Finish:13th) and Iowa Speedway (Start:12th/Finish:37th).

News and notes: After coming off another solid performance at Bristol, Spencer Boyd and team are set to head to Virginia for some more short track action at Richmond Raceway. "I've had this track circled for a while," says Boyd. "One of my favorite racing memories of all time was running bumper to bumper with Dale Jr. there last year. I'm hoping between my previous experience at the track and our team's momentum from the last couple of weeks, we can put together a really solid run." The team is excited to welcome new associate sponsor, Strike Force Energy on board this weekend. Strike Force Energy is a Veteran-owned company that makes energy packed beverage enhancers.

Reed has competed at Richmond Raceway 10 times in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS). He made his first career NXS start at the track in 2013, earning a 16th-place finish. His best career finish at the track came in September 2013 when he finished ninth.

BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Brandon Jones maintained a smile as he spoke to Regan Smith of FOX Sports 1, but the disappointment of such a strong run resulting in a sixth-place finish seeped through as the interview progressed.

Ty Majeski got caught up in two early incidents during Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway, with the second dealing enough damage to his No. 60 SunnyD Ford Mustang to end his day at Lap 100 of the race. Majeski was scored with a 34th-place finish.

Ryan Reed was poised to earn his career best finish at Bristol Motor Speedway before a tire went flat on his No. 16 Drive Down A1C Lilly Diabetes Ford with only 12 laps remaining. Bristol has been Reed’s nemesis, but he was able to earn his best qualifying effort at the .0533-mile track of 12th and had a top-10 finish in his sights.
