This week, the NASCAR XFINITY Series travels to Road America for the last road course event of the 2017 season while the Monster Energy Cup Series and the Camping World Truck Series are enjoying a week off from competition. The on-track action begins Saturday with practice while the Johnsonville 180 race closes out the weekend at 3 p.m. on NBC. Only four races remain in the XFINITY Series regular season.

Sheldon Creed will be back in the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 01 Chevrolet in Sunday’s Johnsonville 180 road-course race at Road America.

The Johnsonville 180 Xfinity Series race scheduled this weekend at Road America is a rarity for Xfinity drivers – an event on Sunday.

Ross Chastain will drive the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 4 Chevrolet in Sunday’s Johnsonville 180 at Road America, the third and final road-course event on this season’s Xfinity Series schedule.

On the Up and Up: Toyota’s Kyle Busch again made history by winning all three NASCAR national series races at Tennessee’s Bristol Motor Speedway to record just the second-ever NASCAR race week sweep by a single driver – a feat the Toyota driver previously accomplished at the track in 2010. Busch captured wins in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) and Monster Energy Cup Series (MENCS), helping Toyota to dominate the weekend with sweeps of not just the race wins, but also the pole awards, race stages and runner-up results.

Reed has competed at Road America three times in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. In those three starts, Reed has one top-five and one top-10 finish.  Reed has an average start and average finish of 15th.

Richard Childress Racing announced today that KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) will serve as their primary partner on Brandon Jones' No. 33 Chevrolet Camaro for the September 2 NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Darlington Raceway. KCMG, an international motorsports group established in 2007, is based in Hong Kong, China and is the leading force in the support and development of professional motorsport racing across the Asia Pacific region, with operations expanding to Europe. 

Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR XFINITY Series at Road America ... In 19 Series starts at the 4.048-mile road course, RCR has captured three consecutive victories with drivers Brendan Gaughan (2014), Paul Menard (2015) and Michael McDowell (2016). The Welcome, North Carolina, organization has completed 937 laps of the 951 (98.5 percent) that they have competed. RCR has accumulated six top-five and eight top-10 finishes, led 52 laps and averages a starting position of 12.4 and finishing position of 11.8.

Gallagher will make his first start in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) at Elkhart Lake's Road America.

BRISTOL, Tenn. -- While Brendan Gaughan still occupies a playoff spot with two races remaining in the 2017 NASCAR XFINITY Series regular season, his late wreck in the Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway did him no favors.
