With rain in the area and a significantly more promising Sunday forecast, Saturday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway has been moved to Sunday at 12 p.m. Gates will open Sunday at 9 a.m. with the Drive for the Cure 300 presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina NASCAR XFINITY Series race scheduled to begin 45 minutes after the Bank of America 500.

CONCORD, N.C. -- Weather stemming from Hurricane Matthew has forced NASCAR to cancel all on-track activity for Friday at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Friday’s On-Track Activity Moved to Sunday; Saturday’s Bank of America 500 Goes Green at 7 p.m.

Due to inclement weather, Friday’s on-track activity has been moved to Sunday; the Drive for the Cure 300 presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina will be moved to Sunday at 11 a.m.; Saturday’s Bank of America 500, the only Saturday night race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, will begin at 7 p.m.
